It’s time to become a master of landlord protection
Hundreds of thousands of missing rent payments since March. It’s every landlord’s worst nightmare, right? Luckily there…
The latest addition to the expanding flatfair team is Strategy Lead Bruno Thompson, who’ll be working with Franz Doerr, founder and CEO, and the rest of the team to lead flatfair to even greater heights.
No stranger to fast-growing tech startups, Bruno joins us from Trouva, an online marketplace for independent retailers. There he was responsible for scaling and running customer operations, managing everything from logistics and customer services to payment processing through a period of sustained, double digit growth. Before Trouva, Bruno spent three years with McKinsey, advising multinational consumer brands on strategy.
“My background is in management consulting and helping small businesses scale through rapid growth,” explains Bruno. “I’m excited to be joining flatfair, because as a landlord (and someone who’s had issues getting deposits returned in the past), I really recognise the value that flatfair brings to tenants, landlords and agents.”
He continues, “As it’s a business which really resonates with me, I wanted to get involved and work closely with the team to build a market-leading product… and that’s what I’m here to do!”
You could say we’ve rather thrown Bruno in at the deep end in his very first week of work. Four days, three pitches and two offices in, it’s been an action-packed start, but he wouldn’t have it any other way.
“We are really pleased to have Bruno join the team,” says Franz. “The experience he brings in growing tech startups is going to prove invaluable to us as we build upon the success flatfair is already enjoying and drive the business forward.”
“I can’t wait to see where we take this business,” agrees Bruno… and neither can we.
The Covid-19 pandemic has been an extremely testing time for everyone involved in the rental sector, and…
There’s no denying the world is looking different these days, and COVID-19 has changed the rental industry…
